Wednesday, September 23, 2009 was a photographers dream day at the City Market, and was choice for Lindsey & Derek's engagement session. The temperature was a comfortable 70 degrees with a slight overcast giving way to flattering diffused lighting.
We started things off at the farmers' market area giving the couple the KC Skyline as their backdrop and then moved on through several locations creating cherished memories. From beginning to end, Lindsey & Derek moved effortlessly in the photos. Ok, there was a little prodding to get them how we wanted. Just a little. (I wonder if tasers would work...hmmmm?)
After a clothing change, we then made our way towards the river front. There we were met with a "golden hour" sun and a gorgeous early fall sunset. Well, for Missouri anyway.
